2. FIXED PRICE IN THE MAJORITY OF PROGRAMS
In the majority of our egg donor programs (which represent over 80% of our processes), we offer a fixed price without unforeseeable surprises in our STANDARD PLUS and PREMIUM programs. This means that, unfortunately, if multiple IVFs or transfers are required, you won't have to pay extra. The clinic covers these expenses. This approach has been highly criticized, especially by agencies that only offer programs in the USA, where unlimited packages are not available and you are charged for every little thing. Our goal is to ensure that you always know the financial commitment you're making and that you won't encounter any unpleasant surprises that nobody warned you about.
3. THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.
GESTLIFE adopts a position of complete transparency with our parents. The Infonow platform, explained down below, is a good example of this during the process, as it allows you to know EVERYTHING that happens at the SAME TIME AS US. We are the only company in Europe that offers this transparency service.
But this commitment to transparency starts long before, during the consultation. We will advise you on ALL the countries where surrogacy is possible, and also (although we may not like it and in some cases we openly discourage it) on countries where pseudo-surrogacies are practiced. These are countries that don't have a law, but where it has become "trendy" to offer parents the possibility of doing something similar to surrogacy, but it is not. In any case, you come to Gestlife so that we can advise you, especially on the pros and cons, and that is exactly what we will do. So that afterward, you have all the information you need to decide with full awareness.
4. WE ARE VISIBLE AND IDENTIFIABLE
We are a law firm in Spain, belonging to the American group INVEST MEDICAL, with our own subsidiaries in 9 countries and our own assisted reproduction clinic. We are a well-respected law firm with all our information publicly available. Many agencies do not disclose the companies behind their websites, and some even fail to comply with the Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act (LSSICE) or the European Data Protection Regulation, which requires the publication of their tax identification number, commercial register, address, and contact numbers on their website. It seems like this information is being kept secret, and they do not want to be known who is behind them. Some don't even have an office and meet parents in the lobby of a central hotel. Be wary of those who hide so that you don't know who they really are.

We are not just a "surrogacy agency." To begin with, the legal entity of an "agency" does not exist or is not recognized in our legal system. 10. FREEZING OF YOUR CHILD'S UMBILICAL CORD STEM CELLS
It is a completely free service that we offer to all our parents in the STANDARD PLUS and STANDARD PLUS PREMIUM programs. Because as important as becoming parents is ensuring the good health of our child in the next 20 years. GestLife takes care of organizing the process with a prestigious cell bank, where you have the fees for 20 years already paid in advance. (You do not have to pay anything for the next 20 years).
11. AN ASSISTANCE MANAGER FOR YOUR CASE IN YOUR LANGUAGE
You will be assigned an Assistance Manager to monitor and manage your file, who speaks your language. You will be able to speak to him or her whenever you wish, in your own language, and he or she will keep you regularly informed by email, telephone and WhatsApp regarding any developments. Additionally you will also be able to view your file through the INFONOW programme.
Furthermore, you will also get to know the country coordinator, always in your language, who holds a higher hierarchical position than the Assistance Manager. You can approach them if you believe something is not going well in your process.
12. INFONOW SERVICE
GestLife is the only surrogacy firm that adheres to a policy of complete transparency with its parents. All the procedures we carry out for your file are recorded in a computer program that allows us to track the steps to be taken. Thanks to a personal code that grants you exclusive access to your file, you can log in 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and be informed, at the same time as us, about everything that is happening. If you prefer not to log in regularly to the program, it will automatically send you an email for each procedure carried out, in line with our policy of absolute transparency.
13. PHYSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT DURING TRAVEL
Our company employees (not external collaborators such as translators, taxi drivers, etc. ....) will pick you up at the airport (always in your language) and take you to the hotel or apartment where you will be staying (depending on the country and programme you have chosen). During the days you are in the country, they will accompany you to all the steps and appointments to be taken to complete the process. This person speaks your language and the language of the country. However, they are not just a simple translator.
They are an Assistance Manager, trained to solve all the problems that may arise. We don't just provide you with a phone number to call if you have problems, only to be assisted over the phone, or if it's in person, to be charged an undisclosed supplement. With us, you will never feel like a foreigner in a foreign country.
14. ACCOMPANIMENT OF A LAWYER TO THE CONSULATE
This is not just a mere companion or translator. When you need to register the child, a lawyer will accompany you to handle all the paperwork, allowing you to focus solely on the child and signing the necessary documents.
15.INDIVIDUAL APARTMENTS
Most agencies that include accommodation place you in shared houses with other couples, some with children. In some cases, there may be only one bathroom for all the couples. At GestLife, we accommodate you in our own apartments (in the case of Kiev, Ukraine, for the first, short-duration trip, and when you are picking up the child). In countries where we do not yet have our own apartments, we arrange for individual apartments that are selected with you. These apartments are equipped for your stay: kitchen, bathroom, refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioning and heating, international TV, etc. Consult with your family advisor about the type of apartments available during your trips, depending on the chosen program and country.
16. MOBILE/LOCAL INTERNET
The company will provide you with a local mobile phone and internet SIM card during your travels to your destination city, so that you can keep in touch with the office in your destination country and your family members via the internet at all times, free of charge.
17.ON-CALL SERVICE 24 HOURS/DAY 365/DAYS/YEAR
When you are in the country of destination, in addition to personalised support, you will have access to the telephone number of the GestLife offices in the country, and a 24-hour on-call number. If something happens to you, we will immediately take care of it.
18. HOME PAEDIATRICIAN SERVICE
When the baby is born and you are in your apartment, waiting to return to your country, a pediatrician will visit to ensure the baby's well-being. Our companions will provide simultaneous translation of what the doctor says. This way, you can be sure that the baby is in perfect health at all times.
19. BABBYSITTER IN THEAPARTMENTS
In most of our programs, we include the presence of a babysitter in the apartment for 3 hours a day in STANDARD programs, and 5 hours a day in STANDARD PLUS and PREMIUM programs (5 days a week with a maximum of 28 days). This way, we help you cope with the first days with the baby, as it will be a significant change in your daily routine.
20. BABY BUGGY
GestLife will lend you a buggy for your baby during your stay in the countries where we have surrogacy programs (GREECE, GEORGIA, UKRAINE, ALBANIA).
21. BABY BASKET WITH ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS FOR YOUR CHILD
GestLife gives you a baby basket containing the necessary products for the first care of your baby. This way we avoid possible "first-time parents' forgetfulness", ensuring you will have everything you need for your child.
22. EXCLUSIVE INSURANCE
GestLife has exclusive guarantees that cover contingencies that no other company covers: loss or deterioration of embryos during transport, change of donor at no additional cost in case of white puncture (without oocytes), etc.... compensation to the pregnant woman in case of miscarriage, death of the pregnant woman or donor, or free restart of the programme in case of death of the baby during the first two years of life (STANDARD PLUS and PREMIUM programmes). Terrible events, which when they occur, in addition to causing inevitable emotional damage, also entail a significant financial loss that agencies don't talk to you about. The key is to ensure that no matter what happens, there are no financial surprises. If you talk to other agencies, ask if these events are covered.
23. TRAVEL ASSISTANCE INSURANCE
During your trips, the company will manage the various travel assistance policies you have, and you won't have to worry about remembering them.
For example, in your car insurance you have assistance abroad covered. The same applies if you have a mutual insurance (SANITAS, ADESLAS, DKV etc.), or credit cards. Some of GestLife's staff come from travel assistance companies, specialised in solving serious problems 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world. If you should have any mishap during your stay, we will take care of all the necessary arrangements with the assistance insurance, thus guaranteeing your well-being.
24. RESTART GUARANTEE IN CASE OF BABY'S DEATH
Unfortunately, after the 7th month, all agencies consider that if the baby is born prematurely and dies, the programme has been fulfilled and you are left without a child and without money. GestLife is the only company in the WORLD that covers you for this terrible contingency, guaranteeing you the restart of the same programme you had contracted, up to two years after the birth, in the event of the death of the baby for any reason or cause (including domestic or traffic accidents). At no cost to you. We want you to be sure that you will have the child you want, whatever happens.
25. OWN INFRASTRUCTURE IN DESTINATION COUNTRIES
The rest of the agencies you'll find lack their own offices and their own staff with social security coverage in the country, which is essential for providing quality service. In the best-case scenario, they rely on an external correspondent, but they have no real authority over them. They may use external collaborators, but when problems or complications arise, they are not on-site, nor do they have adequately trained personnel to handle contingencies. 30. COLLABORATION WITH NATIONAL CLINICS
In the event that you have embryos (or genetic material) already created in other clinics, and always in compliance with current legislation, we will take care of transporting them to the country of destination, always in accordance with current legal framework.
31. IN-HOUSE PSYCHOLOGIST SERVICE
We are the only company in the sector with an in-house psychologist to address the concerns of parents and offer support (only if you wish) throughout the process to help you cope better. The psychological support service is provided free of charge for up to 5 years after the child's birth and covers both parents and the child (for clients from Spain, France, and Italy).

33. OWN PROGRAM FOR RECRUITING SURROGATES AND DONORS
GestLife, through the clinic owned by the group, directly conducts the selection of the two key individuals without whom the programs could not be carried out: the surrogates and the egg donors in programs where they are needed.
We are the only company in Europe with our own program for recruiting surrogates and donors. Their health status is assessed, as well as their complete medical history, that of their family, and their criminal and legal records. They undergo a series of interviews conducted by our psychologist, who uses a battery of tests to determine the suitability of the candidate.

34. SURROGATE SUPPORT PROGRAM
At GestLife, we have a unique approach to surrogate care. We not only provide them with financial compensation but also strive to ensure they receive emotional support and aim to provide them with a better future through a special solidarity program (at no cost to the parents). This program offers special care to the surrogates.
35. MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FOLLOW-UP FOR SURROGATES AFTER THE PROCESS ENDS
For us, both before and after are equally important. GestLife is the only company that provides surrogates (automatically included in the program) with medical follow-up for one year and psychological support for two years. Their health is crucial to us and to our intended parents.
36. PERMANENT PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR THE SURROGATE
We are the only company in the industry that has a psychologist on staff to address concerns and provide support to the surrogate throughout the process, helping her cope better. The psychological support service is provided free of charge for up to 2 years after childbirth.
37. MOBILE APP FOR THE SURROGATE
The surrogate is the most important person in the process for GestLife. Without her, you wouldn't have your child. That's why it's crucial for GestLife to ensure that the surrogate is being well-treated throughout the process, even by our own staff. The best way to obtain this information is directly from the surrogate herself. Through a mobile application, she will keep us informed about her progress, mood, any incidents, etc. This information will be cross-referenced by our supervisors, as is our standard independent procedure. Additionally, every two months, she receives a confidential questionnaire that only the Management reads. In this questionnaire, she is asked about the treatment she has received from all staff members.
38. COMPENSATION TO THE PREGNANT WOMAN OR DONOR IN CASE OF DEATH OR LOSS OF ORGANS
The Standard Plus and Premium programs cover potential compensations (€10,000) to the surrogate or donor's family in case of their death, or to the surrogate or donor themselves in the event of organ loss (such as uterine loss during childbirth, damage to the ovaries during egg retrieval, etc.). Additionally, compensation to the surrogate in case of miscarriage is also covered (€6,000). The rest of the "agencies" do not cover these potential contingencies, and they do not inform you about the existence of these risks until they occur, at which point you are left to bear the cost.
39. PREPARATORY COURSES FOR FIRST-TIME PARENTS
Throughout the process, preparatory courses for baby care are provided. These courses are conducted live, online, through a multi-conference setup, with a renowned pediatrician. They have a distinctly practical focus and have been specifically designed for parents through surrogacy.

In all of our programs, GestLife offers you a paternity test, ensuring the biological parentage of the baby with you.

43. ADOPTION OF THE CHILD BY THE OTHER SPOUSE IF NECESSARY.
For those countries where it is necessary for the commissioning mother to adopt the child once in Spain, GestLife provides free advice and drafts the document for the parents to proceed with the adoption (Spanish clients). For clients of other nationalities, we offer guidance and provide them with contacts from our network of specialized lawyers in their respective countries with whom we collaborate.

We therefore have programs for all types of families: heterosexual couples, married or not, single men and women, same-sex couples (of both sexes), transgender individuals, people with HIV or hepatitis.... There is no obstacle that can prevent you from having your baby if you are a responsible person. We do not discriminate based on gender, age, or other limitations that other clinics or agencies may impose in order to pursue only the easy cases. 46. RIGHT TO ATTEND THE BIRTH
All our programmes offer the right to attend the birth if you wish, to cut the umbilical cord yourselves, and to perform the skin-to-skin technique. These techniques are voluntary, and parents are not obliged to perform them if they do not wish to do so.
47. VIDEO CONFERENCE SERVICE WITH THE PREGNANT WOMAN
If you wish, you can hold video conferences with your surrogate. It doesn't matter if you don't speak their language, as your Assistance Manager does and will be able to translate the conversation for you in real time.
48. COMPENSATION TO THE SURROGATE IN CASE OF THE BABY'S DEMISE AFTER THE 30TH WEEK OF PREGNANCY
Unfortunately, there is a risk that, for some reason, the baby may not come to term, even after the 30th week of pregnancy. In this case, having passed the 30th week, the surrogate is entitled to receive the full compensation, as she has carried out the agreed-upon pregnancy. Otherwise, it would be unfair. This means that the parents would have to pay a new compensation to the new surrogate. GestLife's Premium programs cover this unfortunate event, so the parents do not have to pay the new compensation to the new surrogate.
49. CONTINUITY GUARANTEE
In the world of surrogacy, legal rules often change and can complicate matters. Undesired events like a pandemic, war, or adverse legislative changes can disrupt our process. 50. GESTLIFE ORGANIZES YOUR TRIP AND ACCOMPANIES YOU IF NECESSARY
For many parents, organizing a trip is an easy task. However, for others, it can be complicated. Some airports, like Istanbul (one of the largest connecting hubs in Europe), can be a real maze for those who haven't travelled much or at all. GestLife organizes your trip (booking flights, hotel or apartment, etc.). Additionally, upon your request, if necessary, they can come to your city to accompany you on both the outbound and return journey.
51. HELP FOR ORPHANED CHILDREN IN KYIV, UKRAINE
Regardless of the country where you undergo your process, GestLife allocates a portion of its fees to the social work of GestLife, which involves aiding orphanages in Kyiv, Ukraine. Many children have been left behind without evacuation and have significant needs at a time when the country is focused on winning a war. Through your program, you are helping the orphaned children of Kyiv through our social work initiative. In December 2023, we installed heaters in Orphanage No. 3 in Kyiv to prevent them from experiencing cold during the winter (due to the disruptions in general heating caused by the war).
52. OWN CLINIC IN UKRAINE
GESTLIFE is the only surrogacy company in Europe that owns a clinic in Kyiv, Ukraine.
