Over the last few years, several countries have closed their doors to surrogacy, either to certain groups or in general. At the moment, surrogacy is forbidden to foreign citizens in THAILAND, NEPAL, LAOS, VIETNAM, CAMBODIA, certain states of Mexico (SINALOA, SAN LUIS POTOSI, QUERÉTARO, TABASCO and COAHUILA) and more recently, since 8/12/22, RUSSIA. If any agency offers you one of these destinations, please cease communication immediately. In these countries, foreign citizens are not allowed to perform surrogacy processes which can result in severe prison sentences.
